AI Platform Achieves 99% Accuracy in DOE Hydropower Fish-Passage Study
In a U.S. Department of Energy–supported study with ENERGYWERX and Verdantas Flow Labs, the Radmantis underwater vision platform reconstructed fish species composition with 99% accuracy and detected fish with 95.5% reliability under complex, high-density conditions. The result advances real-time ecological monitoring, helping hydropower operators balance renewable energy production with aquatic ecosystem management.
